Gwangnyeong Studio is an artist collective based in Seoul. ​Our designs are inspired by the architecture of Tadao Ando, ​exploring the communicative potential between nature and ​humanity. We study the impact of shadows on humans, ​celebrating their beauty while seeking an essence akin to ​the hazy light of the East, as if touched by human hands.

When laid flat, clothing appears two-dimensional. However, ​considering the relationship between the wearer and the ​garment, it transforms into a three-dimensional shape, ​introducing the concept of space. We study how the space ​of the armhole is created and in which direction, as well as ​how the space from the neckline to the body extends and in ​which direction.
